#LullysLists | 3 workout programs to follow

It's less than three months before 2019 arrives. Have you been having progress with your goals? Or are you currently feeling overwhelmed and unmotivated? For the past few months I have been occupied working on collaborations and developing a small body of work for an upcoming group exhibition in November. In the midst of it all, I've started to gather inspiration for our Eid 2019 prints!  I admit that I've been neglecting self care and not been exercising consistently. What's worst is that I can feel the difference in my mental well-being! No excuses now! Here are the three fitness influencers and their workout programs I follow. Cassey from Blogilates is such a women crush! Her bodyweight workouts are simple...

Lully's List | Trying out Chinese Painting

We received so much love for the recent collaboration with Sijun and Shalom and I was inspired to paint. For the past four weeks, I attended a class on Chinese Painting. I thought it was going to be a breeze but apparently not! There are two styles- traditional aka realistic  and freestyle. I get to try both!  In Chinese painting, the painters will practice many rounds, perfecting every strokes before creating their masterpieces swiftly in minutes. I don't think I have the patience to do that! The first lesson was painting bamboo shoots. The leaves were the hardest! The way I should start and end with a sharp tip.  The second lesson was quite fun learning how to paint flowers...

#lullyslist| 3 events worth checking out this August

The long weekend has ended but nonetheless there are still many events happening this weekend onwards! Here are my top 3 choices! 1) BAYBEATS 17-19 Aug The annual alternative music event is back, celebrating its 15th years running at Esplanade. I remember going every year during my secondary school and tertiary days. Chasing bands performances from three different venues. The line up of bands this year is great, check it out here. I'm definitely catching the legendary surf punk band Force Vomit and other fresher rap talents like Yung Raja X Fariz Jabba. Enjoy this clip and you will know I what I mean.  2) Night Festival 17-25 August Picture Source: Night Festival  Stroll by the precinct of Bugis and City Hall over the...

#lullyslist | How I stay inspired.

April has come and it feels like I've used up my creative juices while designing Eid 2018 prints! Currently, there's a few more design projects that I'm looking forward to do. If you are a creative, you would understand the struggles we face to make a complete and satisfying design. At the same time getting fascinated by the creative process. How can a project take so long to finish while another project was a breeze to work with? Whenever I feel uninspired to finish up a design work, I would go out- gallery hopping, catch up with friends and even watch a concert. I recently caught Sheila Majid's concert! Here are some of the overdue pictures from Art Stage! Spot...
