#Selbsseries | 3 everyday styles with Moody Graphic Shawls

Hey guys,  Doing styling content are really challenging these days coz of my baby girl, so excuse the not-so-fancy ootd walls. We literally went to my void deck=(. Thank god, the lighting was decent and the colours were captured well. Since the festive mood is over, I decided to do simple everyday looks to go with the latest Moody Graphic Shawls. I'm so happy you guys love the colours we chose because it was tough deciding on the right type of tone.  For this series, I styled the prints according to the colours.  Look 1 Fun way to get the deep green up and about is to match it with a pair of printed pants. Stick to green shades because you wouldn't...

#Selbsseries | Throwback to Lully Selb Founders' Birthday Party

Yes if you still don't know, my partner; Huda aka Lully and I share the same birthday month. Mine was on the 3rd and hers was 4th of July. Call it fate=) We had a blast birthday get together with our closed friends over the weekend and was very surprised to get not 1 but 2 birthday cakes! We planned it by ourselves and yet we got surprises, how lucky!  How it all started was when I asked Huda weeks back, ‘what shall we do this July for our birthday month? #lullyslist | How I stay inspired.

April has come and it feels like I've used up my creative juices while designing Eid 2018 prints! Currently, there's a few more design projects that I'm looking forward to do. If you are a creative, you would understand the struggles we face to make a complete and satisfying design. At the same time getting fascinated by the creative process. How can a project take so long to finish while another project was a breeze to work with? Whenever I feel uninspired to finish up a design work, I would go out- gallery hopping, catch up with friends and even watch a concert. I recently caught Sheila Majid's concert! Here are some of the overdue pictures from Art Stage! Spot...

#lullyslist| BTS NF x LS

I am so excited to share with you behind-the-scenes of our collaboration with Bruneian designer Farhanna from Naforrer. Finally! Organised by EcoAge, The Commonwealth Fashion Project invited designers to collaborate and produce an evening wear. To celebrate this wonderful collaboration between two neighbouring countries, we decided to embrace our shared identity-The Modern Malay Woman. We painted about 3 meters long of neo-florals on silk while Farhanna used wool fleece and songket to be incorporated onto the dress.   We used hot wax and crackled it after it's cooled. Can you spot the crackle effect? After we shipped the painted fabric to Brunei, it's time for Farhanna to work on her magic. Can you spot the Bruneian emblem which we painted by hand...
