For some of you who are fortunate enough to engage an interior designer, these issues may not be as alarming. My Husband and I lucky are to have a friend who’s Father in law is a contractor and we got the design up on our own. We also hear that having an ID is really not neccassary, so we thought this could save us some money. We started planning since last year December and at this point we just started hacking the walls and floors. There are still a lot more planning, sourcing and decisions to be made but if I could turn back time, I wished someone told me these things;
My first umrah trip was about 5 years ago, during Ramadhan and I remember making lots of doas that I will get married soon. My prayer wasn’t answered immediately, Allah knows best but I’m so blessed that after 5 years, I got married to a special person and we made a promise to do umrah together that same year. Alhamdulillah, we were invited to the House of God, Makkah Al Mukarramah and spent the last days of 2016 in the blessed place.
I cannot believe I have been writing for Selb Series for almost a year ! If you guys haven’t noticed, since end of last year, every Thursday, Lully and I take turns to pen down some thoughts, ideas, inspirations as we grow Lully Selb together. To be honest, we are both not regular writers, and we definitely express more in terms of visuals. But we make it a point to inculcate this habit of taking time off and writing a blog every single week. Before I wrote this entry, I was looking back at all the blogposts and its nice to see that these writings showed the journey of 2016; pure hard work, dedication and some fun travels as well....
Since I got my hands on these wardrobe staples, been wearing them every other day, just change bottoms and shawl. Also because I needed a break from the post-marble series ( although I know some of you still crazy in love with them ).
Sometime last month, team Lully Selb made a short trip to explore the city of bikers - Ho Chi Minh. 3 days research at the fabric market, accessories market, printing factories while squeezing some time to check out the city.
